Despair and Destruction

For those of you who see clearly, who refuse to participate in today's festivities and prefer to mourn the loss of our country. For those of you who are not deluded, nor bamboozled by a man who, light as air and substantial as a bubble, has promised "change" and that alone has not buoyed you to giddiness, but instead has made you rightly suspicious, I offer the following information:

Aaron Russo's documentary Freedom to Fascism. A tremendous and factual journey through the decline of America. Once you see this you will understand that after today, we will have become a Fascist nation.

And this: Dmitry Orlov's essay on Socialism v. Fascism. A clearly written description of exactly what Fascism is, and why we are there.

That Bastion of American Socialism

"Over the past few months the American mainstream chatter has experienced a sudden spike in the gratuitous use of the term "Socialist." It was prompted by the attempts of the federal government to resuscitate insolvent financial institutions. These attempts included offers of guarantees to their clients, injections of large sums of borrowed public money, and granting them access to almost-free credit that was magically summoned ex nihilo by the Federal Reserve..."

For those who are about to mourn, I salute you. Keep the faith, and remember, there is only one man who can 'save the world', who can bring everlasting 'hope' and that man is not Barack Hussein Obama. It is Jesus. Put your faith in Him and His control, and all will be well. Today will recede from your mind and if you know Jesus, you will truly know change, not temporary bailout change, but true soul change from the inside.

I am mourining. I feel as though the change to come is not what those who celebrate are anticpating.

That being said, I will pray for Obama. I will pray for our country and I will pray for the future of our children.

I do not believe that Obama is going to bring the change our country needs, but I hope and pray that I am wrong.

It is my understanding that the first bill he is going to sign will give healthcare benefits to illegal immigrants. Let's just reward them for breaking the law. We don't have that kind of money right now. Our country is nearly broke....and we are giving illegal aliens benefits? What about the hard working Americans that do not have health insurance?

We can only pray.

I am not celebrating but am however glad that our nation once again has a peaceful transition of power as the founders had wanted.

Oh I am really mourning now..lol. I cannot even watch my normal Fox News Channel programming. That gives me a true feeling of despair. When FOX turns on ya...it is all over....lol.

I understand that Glenn Beck on Fox had a few things to say about Rev Lowery's racist prayer...LOL wish I'd have heard Beck's commentary.

O'Reilly said that they purposely are staying positive tonight. However apparently NBC did something "egregious" according to Bill and he plans to speak to that Wed night at his Talking Points.

I am watching the HGTV homebuyers shows tonight.

Irony is, as much as I was planning to avoid the whole shebang, I got a call today to substitute in a fifth grade. Their entire curriculum today was designed around...The Inauguration! Including watching it live. So I had to stay measured and explain to the kids that it was not about the man but about the office, the transfer of power, and how unusual that was in the world at the time the Founders designed it. They got it and enjoyed the celebration. I was pleased to see that more than a few liked the classical music and several also enjoyed the poetry.

I got a kick out of them, they had no idea who Aretha Franklin was but they loved her confidence in wearing that ginormous hat.

I am sad our country chose the man they did and I believe it will be a disaster, but God is in control and since He sets up Kings and kingdoms I can only hope that this means He is hurtling us toward the end.

OMG then what I THOUGHT I heard him say...was right. I thought I heard Lowery say something in his prayer like let the white accept what is right.

I was not watching....but was in my dressing room...and could hear the tv. That is awful. Well tomorrow, we will get the whole scoop.

I can only believe we are headed FAST to the end.....look at Israel with their gas discovery...how prophetic.

I bet the fifth grade was a great age to be with today. They just see what they see.....which is really neat.

I'm just at a loss here. I have no idea what you folks are so terrified of. We just went through the most damaging eight years that have happened in this country in a long, long time. The "conservative" president grew the government by more than any other president in history. He sold our port security to a Middle Eastern country. He started, and executed disastrously, two wars. The economy has absolutely tanked, and he presided over billion dollar bailouts with zero oversight.

Any actions that you would normally attribute to a soft-on-terror, fiscally irresponsible, tax-and-spend democrat, Bush has already done. OK...everything except tax, because he has preferred to borrow rather than tax, costing all of us way, way more money in the long run.

Seriously, what are you expecting to happen here that has you so terrified? And how is that that we have gone 95 years since 1913 and suddenly, now, today, because Barack Obama took the oath of office, we're fascist?

Chill. Out.

Take a deep breath, turn off Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly, do your best to help your country, pay your taxes (you fascist, you), and work and hope for the best.

Worse than Bush?

Elizabeth Prata said...

Christie: Yes worse than Bush. I did not agree with loss of habeus corpus and Gitmo, but I did I agree with Iraq, faith based initiatives, Bush's work in Africa, and his approach to terror.

Obama is evil but in a more palpable way, Obama is about destruction, not consensus

Elizabeth Prata said...

To Anonymous who is at a loss:

Terrified? You're pretty funny. Using emotionally charged words to discredit your conversationalist. Har. Terrified? Nope. Criticism against a President's policies, yes.

Bush being the most damaging? History will tell. Some things were bad, some things will prove to have been good.

Bush growing the government? Ha, you haven't seen anything yet that Obama plans to do. Has SAID he will do. That ole gubmint is gonna grow like a Chia pet. Obama has already stated in his campaign what his plans are and those include growth to an extent never before seen. So if you are against growing government you must be terrified of Obama's plans. Terrified!

You believe the war was "disastrous." I do not. Neither does the Jerusalem Post:

"To anybody who looks at a map of the greater Middle East and who remembers what it looked like eight years ago, it is obvious. When President Bush took over the Oval Office, he found Washington's Middle Eastern policy locked in an unsustainable position: double containment of Iraq and Iran, with Islamic radicalism in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere festering in the background. The situation in Iraq was unfinished and untenable. Neither the no-fly zones in the Kurdish north and the Shi'ite south of the country nor the UN-imposed sanctions could be upheld much longer. Large contingents of US troops were tied up in neighboring Kuwait and Saudi Arabia."

"Double containment of Iraq and Iran was unsustainable, but had to be sustained all the same. For eight long years president Clinton had not known what to do about Iraq and had opted for the easiest way out: doing nothing. After 9/11 that was not an option. Bush had to act and make an attempt at bringing a modicum of stability to the world's most unstable region."

And he did!

So what am I expecting and why are we fascist now, you asked. OK, here is the answer:

In the world of Barack Obama, community organizers are a key strategy in a different game altogether; and the name of that game is revolutionary Marxism.

The seditious role of the community organizer was developed by an extreme left intellectual called Saul Alinsky. Obama used Alinsky's book in his organizing. Alinsky was a 'transformational Marxist' in the mold of Antonio Gramsci, who promoted the strategy of a 'long march through the institutions' by capturing the culture and turning it inside out as the most effective means of overturning western society. Its proponents had to cultivate an image of centrism and pragmatism.

Alinsky for whom 'change' was his mantra, and by 'change', he meant a Marxist revolution achieved by slow, incremental, Machiavellian means which turned society inside out. This had to be done through systematic deception, winning the trust of the naively idealistic middle class by using the language of morality to conceal an agenda designed to destroy it. Ta-da!

Look at some Alinsky speeches, you will see Obama's are almost word for word.

"Chill. Out."? Well, we said that to you guys for 8 years. And did you? Pot, calling kettle black. Personally, I will never chill out in the face of deception. And Obama is one huge deception. One. Huge. Deception.

So take a breath, cut the hyperventilating over Obama's pecs and swooning over his smile and fainting at his speeches. Turn off Keith Olbermann and go out into the real world and try your best to get informed of the facts.

So I am not doing my best to help my country just because I disagree with your opinion? Strange ideas you have. I thought thoughtful debate from and informed citizenry helps the country best. Guess that approach is passe to some.

Obama wants to undo the following legislation:

"A "right of conscience" law that allows medical providers to refuse to offer any practice they find morally objectionable, including abortion and other reproductive-health procedures."

So you think our President has the right to force doctors to perform abortions of a patient demands one? Even if it is against their rights?

Listen, I believe that if a Dr. takes a job in an abortion clinic, they are obligated to perform the work or leave the job. That being said, I am 100% pro-LIFE. Still, private practicioners have the right to decide what services they will offer. End of story. Period.

Elizabeth Prata said...

argh. I hate that. Also, I found this today as well: "Obama to Lift Ban on Funding for Groups Providing Abortions Overseas"

President Obama will issue an executive order on Thursday reversing the Bush administration policy that bans the use of federal dollars by non-govermental organizations that discuss or provide abortions outside of the United States.

Basically it means that when we give money to organizations overseas e make them promise not to use the money to promote or conduct abortions. Now that will be repealed.

Repealed by our "Christian" President. On day two. O boy, this is sure going to be interesting.

Obama has socialist tendancies which scare the hell out of me. He is going to turn our country into a WELFARE NATION.

My disagreements with Bush are the same as they are with Obama. He is going to legalize millions and millions AND MILLIONS of illegal aliens. These people are already here stealing from our country. They take free health care, free food, free education. I have a problem with that when there are honest, decent people waiting in line to come to America to make a living for themselves, learn our language and assimilate. They become intergral parts of scociety. Illegals do not.

Obama is going to make it mandatory for middle school and high schoolers to volunteer 50 hours a year. There will be a 12 week "training" program (like boot camp) for college students and all citizens between the ages of 18-25 yr olds. Then, he plans to create "opportunies" for senior citizens to volunteer. Now you tell me....if volunteering is mandatory, are you really volunteering? Are Seniors going to have to volunteer to get their SS checks?

Requiring these things of citizens removes a certain amount of our freedom to choose, don't ya think?

I decide when and if I volunteer. I decide when and if my minor children are going to volunteer. I am the parent of my children and it is my right to decide what they do. I decide if I am going to donate cash instead of time. That is my right as an American.

I also have a problem with women being drafted and put into front line battle of wars. Let's just send everyone to war....single mothers, nursing mothers, widows. They owe it to Obama, right?

Next, it was said that we need to make sure we learn Spanish. Let me tell you this right now. I will never learn spanish just out of spite. This is my country, we speak english and I do not feel that I should have to learn the language of illegal immigrants in order to obtain employment in my country. These people need to come here....legally....and LEARN OUR DAMN languate. It is called assimilation. You want the American dream, learn our language. That being said, those who wait for the opportunity to enter this country do just that. They come, get jobs, health insurance (most anyway), move into neighborhoods and do not trash them. They get drivers licenses and get insurance. Illegals do none of the above.

The last thing I am going to touch on is the fact that at the National Prayer service today, the entire sermon was based on LOVING YOUR LEADER! If they said it once, they said it a hundred times. We There is no law that could ever pass that could ever require me to love Obama...or any other leader I have fundamental difference with. Can't make me. hat being said, we should pray for our leaders...but those prayers are our prayers and we can pray for whatever we choose. Naturally, we want all Presidents to be successful for the sake of our country. But who defines successful?

I could go on and on...but based on the above and so much more....I am not happy at all with Obama.

Tammy said...

I am on a roll now, Elizabeth....lol. Bush took what he was dealt and made the tough decisions to PROTECT AMERICANS on our soil. These people...lest you forget....or maybe you never knew....but....THEY want to kill us, take over our country and put you, me and Anonymous in Burquas. How fickle the American people are to forget they terror and tragedy they inflicted on American Soil. Obama wants to put them into American courts with all the rights and liberties of those they want to KILL. Where is the logic of people who do not see this? Under the Bush administration many were released. What happened? They went back to their terror objective. Obama will them theat was not nice. Slap them on the wrist and let them be tried in courts which have no authority over these radical Islamists. Probably let them out on bail....but not to worry...if they get bail, they must be nice people. Whatever....Bush took those who want to destroy America, Americans and the American way of life and locked them up. Good for him. He made the right choice at the right time...and the entire country supported him. Don't forget that. Even the democrats supported these actions. So anonymous....you need to thank President Bush for protecting you...your family....and accept the fact that there were no more attacks on American soil since 9/11. Tell me what was so bad about that.
