In Oregon, we have a 9% unemployment rate (last reported in Dec. 2008). Oregon's state economist, Tom Potiowsky, predicts Oregon will recover mid-2010. Egads. Portland, specifically, is around 7.2%. Thankfully, the husband still has a job, and his company appears to be doing well.
I'm glad Darr still has a good job with a stable company.
I was bummed to see the school system putting on a hiring freeze for next year. I wanted to apply for a job. I planning to apply for a para-pro job. Ah, well. Not to be I guess
