National Tea Party Day!

Police estimate 1.2 million in attendance. ABC News reporting crowd at 2 million. No "tiny fringe" here. Earlier Press Secretary Robert Gibbs claimed he had no idea of any tea party rallies or protests in Washington DC today. "White House officials on Friday professed to know nothing of the planned demonstrations. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs queried reporters about the planners and their issues. "I don't know who the group is," he said with a shrug."

I'll tell you who 'the group' is, Mr. Gibbs. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Two million of them who showed up to speak their peace in your face. And millions MORE in restaurants, garages, living rooms, parking lots, protesting alongside their brothers and sisters in simulcast. We. The. People. As long as we can still speak, we have a country. The greatest country in history, and the American people are speaking now.

60-70 thousand people is still a lot, but it's a far cry from 1.2-2 million.

LOL! The left must be going crazy with heads spinning right off their necks! There were at least a million people there.

"It's an old political tactic to get out in front and make wild projections and when they're not met, claim their opponents don't have the juice," said Pete Sepp, a spokesman for the National Taxpayers Union, one of the organizers of the rally."

time lapse proof here

MSNBC: "massive rally" "so many people that Penn. Ave had to be shut down to accommodate them all"

Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today,

Here is a schematic from USAToday to estimate crowd size for O's inauguration:
Oh, about a million.

Andrew, the American people had something to say and a million of them turned out to say it.

Denials of the facts only make the left look like petty whiners.
