The use of anonymous sources just gets funnier

Clinton Said to Be Unsure About Cabinet Job

"WASHINGTON — Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has reservations about accepting an appointment as secretary of state in the Obama administration, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton who is familiar with her thinking said on Tuesday."

So a newspaper claiming to be the "Newspaper of Record" for the entire nation uses as the basis for their lead story comments from a secret person who is psychic. And it is the lead sentence. Wow. Makes me long for the days of Uri Geller and Hearst newspapers. At least they are what they are. The New York Times fell from grace long ago. (Said a secret source familiar with my thinking.)
