I say it again, Obama is a Marxist

Having restrained myself from a good and juicy "I told You So" for many years, I indulge myself now, briefly. I said it before and I'll say it again, the likely next president of the United States (barring war and martial law) is a Marxist-Socialist.

How on earth could I suspect such a thing, never mind put it in writing, you ask? Well, his rhetoric around his sponsoring of the Global Poverty Act, which would dilute the Constitution and enforce taxation without representation, for one thing. The fact that his Texas office sported a Che Guevara poster for a time is another. This was reported in the London Times.

Lately we learn that his campaign website, which allows for specific groups in its Community Blog section, has a lively conversation ongoing in the Marxists Socialists For Obama blog.

"This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. By no means is he a true Marxist, but under Karl Marx's writings we are to support the party with the best interests of the mobilization of the proletariat. Though the Democratic Socialists of America or the Communist Patty of America may have more Socialistic values, it is pointless to vote for these candidates due to the fact that there is virtually no chance they will be elected on a National level. The members of this group are not Leninists, Stalinists, etc. and do not support or condone the actions of North Korea, China, Cuba or any other self-proclaimed "Marxist States." They do not in anyway represent the Marxist philosophy nor do they represent Socialism/ Communsim. We support Barack Obama because he knows what is best for the people!"

For the proletariat, you mean.

As a working class person, I guess I see nothing wrong with what's good for the "proletariat". Isn't that who most of us are? Our other option seems to be a member of the Keating Five who has unresolved PTSD issues, and one who ditched his wife who waited for him all those years once she was in an auto accident and no longer beautiful. There are nut-jobs and nut-job groups supporting both candidates. The fact that one group of crazies supports Obama is no worse than another group of crazies supporting McCain. And oh yea, what's so terribly wrong with being on the side of the working class again ???

I agree with you. Being on the side of the working joe is good.

But I do not like Obama's bill that ties into the UN's Millennium Development Goals that takes our money and dispenses it around the world without US say so on apportionment. I am generous, but it's my choice where my money goes, not the UN's.

I can't stand John McCain either, what he did to his first wife was awful and the thing he said to his second, (in public no less) was equally ghastly.

Vote Ron Paul!

I would if he were on the ticket lol, but it's not meant to be. Given the choice of two that we are given, the big O is a hundred times closer to being the president I want than the big McC. Why are all the best candidates weeded out so early?

I don't knwo but it is a shame, isnt it! Likely the reason is money.

I think it was George Ure of urbansurvival.com that said, why not just put the Presidency on ebay and sell it tio the highest bidder? That is what the campaign amounts to these days.
