Gas attack!

Florida Boy Arrested For Gas Attack
12-year-old charged after deliberately "breaking wind" in class

"NOVEMBER 21 -- A 12-year-old Florida student was arrested earlier this month after he "deliberately passed gas to disrupt the class," according to police. The child, who was also accused of shutting off the computers of classmates at Stuart's Spectrum Jr./Sr. High School, was busted November 4 for disruption of a school function. A Martin County Sheriff's Office report, a copy of which you'll find below, notes that the 4' 11" offender admitted that he "continually disrupted his classroom environment by breaking wind and shutting off several computers." The boy, whose name was redacted from the police report released today, was turned over to his mother following the arrest. The young perp turned 13 on November 15."

The most I've had to deal with is burping. I feel for the teacher who had to put up with the farts. LOL! But arresting him?

Our first non-Christian President

Interview with State Sen. Barack Obama
Saturday March 27, 2004
Catherine Falsani, Religion reporter with Chicago Sun Times

The actual interview is lengthy and eye opening. I excerpted the salient points to illustrate President-elect Obama's utter refutation of the basic principles of Christianity. To be sure his answers are phrased eloquently but his words are still poison in a pie. Here, Obama discusses his Christian beliefs, born-again, and sin. First are Obama's answers and second are the biblical citations which illustrate that Obama is not Christian.
Falsani
What do you believe?

OBAMA:
"I am a Christian. So, I have a deep faith. I draw from the Christian faith. On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences. I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10. My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim. And I'd say, probably, intellectually I've drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.

So, I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that there is a higher power, that we are connected as a people."
Christianity: A Christian doesn't "draw from other faiths." Either you are a Christian or you are not. Being a Christian means you follow Christ, completely, and you don't call the God of the Universe 'a higher power.' He is God. The First Commandment says "I am the Lord your God. You shall have no other gods before Me." Exodus 20:2-3
Truth: There are not 'many paths'. Jesus IS the Truth. Anyone who denies that is not a Christian: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6. One path. Period.
Falsani:
So you got yourself born again?

OBAMA:
Yeah, although I retain from my childhood and my experiences growing up a suspicion of dogma. And I'm not somebody who is always comfortable with language that implies I've got a monopoly on the truth, or that my faith is automatically transferable to others.

I'm a big believer in tolerance. I think that religion at its best comes with a big dose of doubt. I'm suspicious of too much certainty in the pursuit of understanding just because I think people are limited in their understanding.
Doubt: Religion comes with a big dose of doubt? Not if you are a Christian!! "'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."Mark 9:23
Understanding: People in the Holy Spirit are not limited in understanding. Obama looks at the world through the lens of himself. Through that lens, to be sure, people are limited in understanding. But the Holy Spirit gives all understanding: Colossians 2:2 "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;"
Falsani:
What is sin?

OBAMA:
Being out of alignment with my values.
Sin: Romans 3:23 "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." Sin is failing GOD'S standard, not our own. In his answers, Obama often points to himself, not the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength."
Falsani:
What happens if you have sin in your life?

OBAMA:
I think it's the same thing as the question about heaven. If I'm true to myself and my faith, that is its own reward. When I'm not true to it, that's its own punishment.
Sin: "But your iniquities (sin) have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
Self: Again Obama relies on self. You cannot do that for "the heart is deceitful above all things." Jer 17:9 "Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature." Romans 13:14
Reward: 23 "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven." Luke 6:23 God rewards and punishes, not the self. Obama is essentially saying he is his own reward! LOL, not possible. The wages of sin is death.
Falsani:
What are you doing when you feel the most centered, the most aligned spiritually?

OBAMA:
I think I already described it. It's when I'm being true to myself.
Again with the self. A better answer to this question would have been: When I'm praying to God. When I'm singing hymns praising Jesus. When I'm reading His Holy Word. Nowhere does Obama mention the most spiritual thing possible: relationship with Jesus. No, when he feels most spiritual is when he's gazing at his own navel and contemplating himself. Again.
Falsani:
Who's Jesus to you?
(He laughs nervously)

OBAMA:
Right.
Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he's also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he's also a wonderful teacher. I think it's important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.
Jesus: He is not a "historical figure." He is not a "powerful person." "He is not just a wonderful teacher." 2 John 1:7--"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." Obama is a Christ denier and a blasphemer.

It is clear President Elect Obama is not a Christian. He professes such, but he is not. Do not be deceived. ""He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters." Matthew 12:30

Kenyan Ambassador, confims Obama born in Kenya

On November 6th a couple of radio DJs from WRIF in Detroit called the Kenyan Embassy and were put through to the Ambassador, to ask about the national mood subsequent to Obama's Presidential victory. Toward the end of the call they asked the Ambassador if President Elect Obama's birthplace in Kenya will be marked with a monument or if tourism will increase there.

Here is a transcript:

DJ: One more quick question. Is the spot where President-Elect Obama's birthplace over in Kenya, is that going to be a spot to go visit where he was born?
Ogego: The place is already an attraction. His paternal grandmother is still alive...
[DJ interrupts]
DJ: But the birthplace, will they put up a marker there?
Ogego: It is already well known.

The DJ later said he phrased his question "President Elect Obama" on purpose so the distinction from Obama's father, whose name is also Barack Obama, would be clear to the Ambassador.

Earlier, his paternal grandmother said Obama was born in Kenya, reported here

The Supreme Court is holding a conference on Dec 5th to determine if the citizenship case has merit. If four of the nine Justices vote to hear the case in full, oral argument may be scheduled. The conference is scheduled for December 5, 2008, ten days before the meeting of the Electoral College whereupon the College is scheduled to vote Obama into office.

The Ambassador identified himself as well as the Secretary when she put the DJs through, as His Excellency Peter Ogego. Here is a link that shows His Excellency's photo and his name, he really IS the Ambassador:

Here is the link of the audio. Listen to His Excellency confirm Obama was born in Kenya: minute 12:15 to minute 13:00

WOW! You know, of course, this means he cannot be President. Just as many of us have been saying all along.

I like this and I have no reason why

Electric fence on horse farm. I revisited my photos and came across this one I didn't like before but now I do. Go figure.

Is this Barack Obama's America?

Gay rage at Proposition 8 California's reversal of gay marriage laws has infuriated the gay and lesbian community and spoiled the mood of celebration following Barack Obama's victory.

An peaceful, smiling, praying elderly woman is attacked by gays in a mob scene that includes close threats, screams, ripping her cross out of her hand and stomping on it ...

An angry gay mob taunts, threatens, accosts, and surrounds peaceful Christians singing Amazing Grace in a San Francisco gay district to the extent that police had to protectively escort them out ...

Lesbians invade a Michigan church service, scream, "It's OK to be gay!" and "Jesus was gay!" & kiss at the pulpit and throw condoms and perverse literature at the parishioners, including children ...

Michelle Malkin calls it "the insane rage of the anti-Prop. 8 mob." Like these insane haters: "Daniel Ginnes carried a banner declaring: "No More Mr Nice Gay." Brian Lindsey held up a sign billing Joseph Smith, founder of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, as a "prophet, polygamist, paedophile." Hundreds of others simply chanted: "Mormon scum" the London Independent reports. Enthusiastically shooting themselves in the foot, they are exhibiting mob rage whose depths make their own allies in the movement uncomfortable.

President-elect Barack Obama is on the record opposed to gay marriage, but he has said nothing about these NUMEROUS protests. He is the supposed agent of change and a "new politics" of tolerance and civility...and he has said nothing. He is the country's new leader...and he has said nothing. Why not? He could do a lot to HELP tamp down the national feelings of fury. But he has not chosen to do anything. So I ask you, is this Barack Obama's America?

Though our country is founded on mutual tolerance and free but civil speech, this tenet is positively unraveling and as it unspools the country unravels with it. The level of contempt, intolerance, violence and hatred has crossed the line from troubling to terrifying.

Just as the bible said it would.

The use of anonymous sources just gets funnier

Clinton Said to Be Unsure About Cabinet Job

"WASHINGTON — Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has reservations about accepting an appointment as secretary of state in the Obama administration, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton who is familiar with her thinking said on Tuesday."

So a newspaper claiming to be the "Newspaper of Record" for the entire nation uses as the basis for their lead story comments from a secret person who is psychic. And it is the lead sentence. Wow. Makes me long for the days of Uri Geller and Hearst newspapers. At least they are what they are. The New York Times fell from grace long ago. (Said a secret source familiar with my thinking.)

Does your soul need fixing?

Obama wants to help. Here's Michelle Obama interview by Ed Morrissey:

"We have lost the understanding that in a democracy, we have a mutual obligation to one another — that we cannot measure the greatness of our society by the strongest and richest of us, but we have to measure our greatness by the least of these. That we have to compromise and sacrifice for one another in order to get things done. That is why I am here, because Barack Obama is the only person in this who understands that. That before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken in this nation."

Ed's response:

"Government doesn’t exist to save souls; it exists to ensure domestic tranquility and provide for the common defense. If I feel my soul needs saving, the very last place I’d look (in the US) for a savior would be Washington DC or Capitol Hill. I’ll trust God and Jesus Christ with my soul, and I’m not going to mistake Barack Obama for either one."

I think the fundamental problem is that we have forgotten what government exists for. Thomas Jefferson said in his first inaugural address:

"A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicity." So what were their ideas about the core functions of the government? The Federalist Papers contain those thoughts and debates.

In the paper "Determining Core Functions of Government," Bob Williams writes, "The Founders established twenty specific federal powers for the named purposes of providing protection from foreign invasion, domestic peace, justice under the law, necessary and clearly defined public works, and foreign and interstate relations. They believed government existed to bring cohesiveness, legitimacy and protection to a nation declaring itself sovereign. They were repulsed by a government that would take its citizens’ wealth, exploit its people, and send its youth into wars birthed from ego."

They would be further repulsed by the ego of a Presidential candidate who promotes himself as desiring to serve because he, not God, is a fixer of souls.

Got gremlins?

Awww! They's so cute!

I'm always astounded at the diversity of our planet. I traveled throughout the world and saw so many interesting and wondrous things. Everything from sea slugs on the desert ocean floor of the Bahamas to tapirs in the Amazon to capybaras swimming in the River Arno in Florence...all interesting, all good.

Now they find these teeny tiny tarsiers in Indonesia they thought went extinct 85 years ago. We've always known about regular sized tarsiers, but these gremlin like creatures are no bigger than a mouse and have eyes as big as dimes. A real-live gremlin!

Gremlins Thought Extinct, Found After 85 Years

Mouse-sized primates called pygmy tarsiers, not seen alive in 85 years, have come out of hiding from a mountaintop in a cloud forest in Indonesia.

Weighing just 2 ounces (57 grams), they resemble mini gremlin creatures, as they have big eyes and are covered in dense coats of fur to keep warm in a damp, chilly habitat.
